With thieves becoming more brazen due to poor police detection rates and dreadful prosecution rates, they know that the likelihood of going to prison is extremely low. Especially now as the Government are letting non-violent criminals out of prison early, even when attacks on shop staff are at an unprecedented level.
For years we had our first line of defence to slow criminals down by using good solid security measures to stop physical entry. When that fails, we have our second line of defence with electronic security systems, sensors, alarms, cameras. But that will not stop a determined attacker. Once these criminals are in your home or business, they know they have a certain amount of time to help themselves.
The latest development in security is the Security Fog Cannon. These devices provide a third layer of security and a physical barrier to theft and attacks on staff.
The Security Fog Base Station is a plug and play system that can be in addition to your existing security systems or your only security system. Ceiling mounted it is fitted with a 360-degree highly sensitive PIR sensor that when an intruder enters the area a warning voice tells them to leave, or they will be sprayed with security fog. At the same time your smartphone or anyone you share the device with, will be immediately alerted of the intruder’s presence.
The device will send real time video images to your phone from its 360 degree, fisheye camera, there is nowhere the intruders can hide. It will take and store photographs and live video footage storing it on a cloud platform for you or the police to access later. Through the two-way audio system, you can listen to the intruders from your phone or even speak directly to them, warning them that the police have been called and are on their way. (Or other choice things you may wish to say to them).
Finally, you can fire the three onboard fog cannons from your phone. In seconds an area up to 150 cubic meters will be filled with a non-toxic non-hazardous cloud which is impossible to see through, forcing the intruders to leave. If you can’t see it, you can’t steal it. The Fog is completely harmless to humans and animals and once it clears, leaves virtually no residue on surfaces for you to clean up. Completely safe with all electrical appliances, furnishings and food stocks.
Protecting staff from physical attack is another major reason for installing a Security Fog system. When faced with a threatening person the member of staff can fire the Fog Cannon using a Remote-control SOS button or a hard-wired SOS button (Both Supplied). This will confuse the attacker and allow the member of staff to safely vacate the area, leaving you or them to call the police.
For larger areas add Additional Fog Cannons to increase the protected area by another 150 cubic meters. You can add as many Additional Fog Cannons as needed to cover any size of area. You can fire them independently from a smartphone. You can give them different names on your smartphone to indicate the area they cover like reception or office. You can install the Addtional Fog Cannons without the Base Station and wire them directly to an SOS button or to an existing alarm system to fire the Addtional Fog Cannons automatically.
You may have different areas that need to be secured. For example, you may have a shop-front and a stock room. You could place one Security Fog Base Station with its camera and PIR sensors in each room, controlling each area from your smartphone separately and increase the amount of Fog Cannons based on the size of the area needing protection. For offices, you could place the Base Station in each office, protecting each office independently. The installation is simple. You just need Wi-Fi and a normal three point plug power supply to connect. The system can be installed in less than half an hour.
